Taiwanese Comic Artists Bring “Play with Taste” Exhibition to Malaysia for the First Time at Nippon Designers School Malaysia College, March 26-31 in Kuala Lumpur!

For the first time in Malaysia, a group of Taiwanese comic artists will be showcasing their works through the “Play with Taste” exhibition. Organized by Nippon Designers School Malaysia College, TAGCC 2025, and the Malaysia Comic Society, this exhibition will feature hand-drawn original artworks and live drawing demonstrations, creating a dynamic platform for artistic exchange.

Since 2024, these Taiwanese artists have been expanding their reach through international exhibitions and industry exchanges. Under the banner of “Appreciation,” they have traveled to Japan, Hong Kong, and Chengdu, promoting the spirit of creativity, artistic expression, and collectible artworks. Now, they are bringing their unique artistry to Malaysia, offering local audiences an exclusive opportunity to engage with their works and creative process.

The exhibition will be headlined by five distinguished Taiwanese comic artists—Maclien, Amin Lee, Bankota, Chong Fang Chih, and Max Lai—who have been at the forefront of Taiwan’s evolving comic scene. Their works span a diverse range of artistic styles, storytelling techniques, and thematic explorations, reflecting Taiwan’s vibrant comic industry.
